Use your dried fruits

Use

You can use your dried fruits in many situations:

  • As a snack before sport activities
  • Added in your cereal at breakfast
  • In cakes (rehydrated or not)

Some recipes are listed on the "Recipe pages". Feel free to share your recipe using dried fruit.

Storage

If you don't eat your dried fruit right away , they must be kept in a suitable place. I also think they are often taste better a week after having dried then right after (they probably finish drying naturally in their boxes). If the drying was done well, dried fruit can be kept at least one year.

Dried fruits must be kept in a dry place and protected from light. The best way is to put your dried fruit in glass jars or metal cans (cookie boxes for example) that close hermetically. Good plastic boxes are also good. To remember the date of drying your fruit, I advise you to stick labels on your boxes.
